John Nahas graduated with a Master’s in Public Diplomacy ( MPD) from the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism, and School of International Relations, at the University of Southern California where he also earned a bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Communication. He has been a researcher at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s Middle East Center (CMEC) in Beirut, Lebanon. He has also collaborated with numerous academic, international and non-governmental organizations such as the US Institute of Peace, the USC Center on Public Diplomacy, the American Univeristy in Dubai, and the Project on Middle East Demcoracy ( POMED). John was also the President of the Association of Public Diplomacy Scholars and was on the inaugural staff and a Senior Editor for PD Magazine . His interests are US politics and foreign policy, the Middle East, geopolitics, international economy, as well as current affairs in society and culture.
